11/7/04 Hi Olga
I was searching on the web and found your site. I lived in many DP camps
according to my paperwork. My last known address was D.P. Settlement
1006, Wienerstr. 24, Wels, Austria. As yet, I have been unable to find
any information. Do you have any information regarding this camp? I would
        very much appreciate it.
I came to this country in 1948 under the Child Welfare office of the IRO
(International Refugee Organization) in Linz for displaced persons. I have
never been able to find any information regarding family.
Any information that you might have would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards Jim

I was born in the Wels, Austria DP camp in 1947. My parents were born in Dobre, Poland and survived the war in Russia. My oldest brother was born in Kazakstan, Russia. I have a few pictures of the DP camp but little info. Thanks for your site. Morris Powazek Claremont, California
